Week 11 Predictions
Here's to hoping our second week of predictions goes a little bit better!
Blaise: 8-8 last week, 8-8 overall
Rob: 7-9 last week, 7-9 overall
Brendan: 6-10 last week, 6-10 overall
New York (AFC) at Denver
Blaise: New York (27-12)
Rob: New York
Brendan: New York
The Jets D awakens from its slumber of the past couple of weeks and contains Tebow and makes him throw. We all saw how that went last week, even though they did win...
Oakland at Minnesota
Blaise: Minnesota (24-23)
Rob: Oakland
Carson Palmer continues to improve in the Raiders offense against a team without much confidence. Aside from Jared Allen and Adrian Peterson, not much should slow down Oakland this week.
Brendan: Oakland
Buffalo at Miami (Brendan)
Blaise: Buffalo (28-20)
Rob: Miami
Brendan: Buffalo
Miami has shown some life the last two weeks, but I see the Bills winning this one. In one last attempt to prove they can contend this year (IMO I think they are one year away from doing so), the Bills will pill this one out. Fitzpatrick shakes off the poor performances from the past couple weeks and sticks it to Miami's D.
Cincinnati at Baltimore
Blaise: Baltimore (26-19)
Rob: Cincinnati
Brendan: Baltimore
The Bengals played a lot better than I expected against the Steelers last week and I think they will play fairly well against the Ravens too. I don't see them containing Flacco and Ray Rice, especially without Jonathan Joseph and potentially Carlos Dunlap.
Jacksonville at Cleveland (Blaise)
Blaise: Cleveland (14-12)
Both teams are lacking offensive fire power. The Jags are lead by rookie QB Blaine Gabbert, while the Browns are led by second year QB Colt McCoy. Expect a low scoring game with the Browns' young dynamic defensive players to lead them to a victory.
Rob: Jacksonville
Brendan: Cleveland
Dallas at Washington
Blaise: Dallas (30-10)
Rob: Dallas
Dallas continues their hot streak with an easy win against the most indecisive head coach in the NFL. Grossman or Beck? Helu or Torain? Shanahan needs to make a decision and stick with it if the Redskins want to see any improvement.
Brendan: Dallas
Tampa Bay at Green Bay
Blaise: Green Bay (34-21)
Rob: Green Bay
Green Bay continues their impressive collection of turnovers against a struggling Josh Freeman. Look for Aaron Rodgers to continue his record setting pace as the Packer offense should have plenty of opportunities with the football.
Brendan: Green Bay
Carolina at Detroit (Blaise)
Blaise: Detroit (25-18)
Expect a closer game than anticipated. The Lions get back on track this week back at home. Megatron and Stafford should tear up against a lack luster Panthers' secondary.
Rob: Detroit
Brendan: Detroit
Arizona at San Francisco
Blaise: San Francisco (31-27)
Rob: San Francisco
Brendan: San Francisco
For whatever reason, (probably a poor division), San Francisco has played extremely well thus far. Frank Gore is questionable for this game, but rookie Kendall Hunter will step up in his spot if needed.
Seattle at St. Louis (Blaise)
Blaise: St. Louis (23-20)
A NFC West battle that involves two underachieving teams. Seattle is coming off an upset victory against the highly talented Baltimore Ravens. I'm taking the St. Louis Rams in somewhat of an upset. Steven Jackson can single handily win the Rams the game.
Rob: St. Louis
Brendan: Seattle
San Diego at Chicago
Blaise: Chicago (30-28)
Rob: Chicago
Brendan: Chicago
The way Chicago's D has put up points this year is incredible and if the Chargers even put it in the vicinity of Devin Hester they're going to be in trouble. Philip Rivers has been too inconsistent this year and a tough D shuts him down.
Tennessee at Atlanta (Blaise)
Blaise: Atlanta (32-13)
I have been high on the Falcons all year and I have been skeptical about the Titans all year, so obviously I'm picking Atlanta. Too much talent on the Falcons team with Ryan, Turner, White, and Jones for them to lose this Titans team.
Rob: Atlanta
Brendan: Atlanta
Philadelphia at New York
Blaise: Philadelphia (30-29)
Rob: New York
Without Michael Vick look for the Eagles disappointing season to continue, not that he has lead the team to many wins himself though. Eli Manning will continue his strong season with an important division win against this frustrated organization.
Brendan: New York
Kansas City at New England
Blaise: New England (40-20)
Rob: New England
The Chiefs continue to struggle as their starting quarterback joins the long list of wounded warriors from last season's surprise team. To be fair though, the Patriots would still win this game against a healthy Matt Cassel. Look for New England to secure their position as the best team in the AFC.
Brendan: New England
Week 10 Predictions
We're a little behind, but this is our first weekly predictions of the year. We will continue to do this throughout the year and see who has the best record out of the three of us. The third member we are introducing is our editor, Rob Sipniewski, who has been a huge asset to ScoutHype. Enjoy!
Oakland at San Diego
Blaise: San Diego (30-21)
Rob: San Diego (27-17)
Phillip Rivers rebounds against an Oakland team that hasn't been the same since the loss of Jason Campbell. A healthy Ryan Mathews opens up the field for Rivers to easily eclipse 300 yards in this 10 point win.
Brendan: San Diego (31-17)
Arizona at Philadelphia
Blaise: Philadelphia (31-9)
Rob: Philadelphia (27-13)
Brendan: Philadelphia (28-13)
This is a must-win game for the Eagles, as is pretty much the rest of the season for them and Mike Vick slings it all over the field against a weak Cardinals secondary.
Jacksonville at Indianapolis (Blaise)
Blaise: Jacksonville (23-16)
The Colts continue to show why Peyton Manning is still the NFL MVP even while not playing a single down. Indianapolis loses another division game en route to the first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Rob: Jacksonville (16-7)
Brendank: Jacksonville (13-10)
Denver at Kansas City (Blaise)
Blaise: Kansas City (26-24)
Expect a good game of two teams that still don't have much of an identity. The young Chiefs' defense forces Tebow to make mistakes, and watch out for Kansas City's rookie WR Jon Baldwin to make a big impact in this AFC West battle.

Robk: Denver (20-17)
Brendan: Kansas City (24-21)
Houston at Tampa Bay (Brendan)
Blaise: Tampa Bay (31-19)
Rob: Houston (31-23)
Brendan: Houston (28-17)
Houston wins regardless if Andre Johnson plays. Foster and Tate have been dominating opposing defenses all season, and this doesn't stop against the Buccaneers.
New Orleans at Atlanta (Blaise)
Blaisek: Atlanta (32-24)
Atlanta started off slow, but they are starting to pick up where they left off last year. This should be a good game, but I see the Falcons winning at home.

Rob: Atlanta (35-31)
Brendan: New Orleans
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (Blaise)
Blaise: Pittsburgh (28-10)
Cincinnati has been a nice surprise, especially their rookie QB Andy Dalton. But look for the young Bengals to have a rude awakening when they face the veteran led Steelers.

Rob: Cincinnati (20-16)
Brendan: Pittsburgh (24-14)
Tennessee at Carolina (Rob)
Blaise: Carolina (24-23)
Rob: Carolina (27-17)
Look for Chris Johnson to finally break 100 yards a second time this season against a shaky Carolina rush defense. Hasselbeck maintains his average play, doing just enough once again to postpone talks of Locker making his NFL debut.
Brendan: Carolina (21-13)
Buffalo at Dallas (Brendan)
Blaise: Dallas (33-20)
Rob: Buffalo (24-20)
Brendan: Buffalo
Fitzpatrick bounces back after a shaky game against the Jets as he faces a depleted/underachieving secondary. The Bills need to win this game to erase all doubts of a fluke start and beat an underachieving Cowboys team.
St. Louis at Cleveland (Rob)
Blaise: St. Louis (19-13)
Rob: St. Louis (17-16)
Phil Dawson continues to be Cleveland's biggest offensive weapon, booting 3 more field goals. Look for Haden and crew to shut down the Rams passing game, forcing all the attention on Jackson who still does enough to seal a win for St. Louis.
Brendan: Cleveland (17-10)
Washington at Miami (Rob)
Blaise: Miami (23-17)
Rob: Miami (24-10)
Washington continues to struggles as their fans begin to regret their early season wins. Ironically, Miami fans face the opposite dilemma as Matt Moore leads the Dolphins to two consecutive wins against under-performing teams.
Brendan: Miami (21-18)
Baltimore at Seattle (Blowout pick of the week)
Blaise's Pick: Baltimore (27-6)
Rob's Pick: Baltimore (30-10)
Brendan's Pick: Baltimore (31-3)
New York (NFC) at San Francisco (Brendan)
Blaise: New York (24-15)
Rob: New York (20-13)
Brendan: New York (23-13)
Two good defenses square off with the quarterback play deciding this game, as Eli Manning again tries to back up his self-proclaimed elite status. Alex Smith continues to make everyone around the league unsure if he's ready to lead the 49ers of if it's going to be Kaepernick's time soon.
Detroit at Chicago (Rob)
Blaise: Chicago (26-23)
Rob: Detroit (24-17)
The Chicago offensive line returns to its unstable state as a strong Detroit defensive line wrecks havoc on Cutler. Forte continues his success with a big game, but in the end it's not enough as the Bears fall one touchdown short.
Brendan: Detroit (31-21)
New England at New York (AFC) (Blaise)
Blaise: New England (34-28)
See this one coming down to the wire as both teams need this win. Brady will return to his normal self, and the Pats edge the Jets in a great AFC East contest.

Rob: New England (31-17)
Brendan: New York (28-24)
Minnesota at Green Bay (Brendan)
Blaise: Green Bay (38-17)
Rob: Green Bay (35-20)
Brendan: Green Bay (38-20)
The only way the Vikings are going to beat the Packers is if they outscore them, and that won't happen, especially at the Frozen Tundra.
